Today we had created our own algorithms using a coordinate system. The class learned what the definition of an algorithm is. It is a precise sequence of instructions for processes than can be executed by a computer. We then got into groups and were given grids and asked to create a picture with the different coordinates. We were reminded that the origin is (0,0) so we had to start there. There was also were special notation we had to write in order for the person who was trying to figure out what we had drawn. Some of those notations were move up(#), and move right(#). Some of the challenges that I faced was that it took long to figure out exactly what the person in my group had drawn and what the coordinates were.
