This post shows an idea that my group and I came up with to help everyone become more aware of volunteering opportunities within their communities. We want everyone, whether you are a kid or adult to fundraise money to a cause that they hold dear to them. Whether you want to advocate to end world hunger and you hold food drives or you and group help clean up your local park or beach, this is a way to get connected to others in your community and have a fun time with volunteering. Our company is non for profit and we generate money from donations and from major companies such Pepsi and Spotify. We want to challenge our volunteers to do more so we created a leaderboard that shows who has been doing the most volunteering and how much money they raised for their cause. To make this challenge more exciting, we included prizes such as free tickets to concerts and sports games and we also included gift cards up to $200.
